Spinning Block Hotel at Holmes Mill

Lovely venue, attended for a wedding. Limited parking spaces at the venue, but roadside parking and Long stay car park up the road. If you want to get in room earlier its £25! Make sure you check they have Noted this request by reserving your card. The hotel room is lovely however, pillows not great! And there is no air con, so its extremely hot, windows open only slightly. Wedding room again was great and food the pies were awesome, however the room had no air conditioning making too hot and uncomfortable. This is the only downside. Staff lovely and quick service.

Brilliant stay, the rooms are well kept, spacious and light. We came here for our friends' wedding and would be more than happy to stay again.

Stayed one night, room was great in a quiet location of the hotel (as there was a wedding on just as well). Room was good, knocked off 1 star due to coffee stain on the carpet but apart from that room was great. Location is ideal with the beer hall next door and all that Clitheroe has to offer.

We stayed 2 nights in this fabulous hotel for a family wedding. As soon as we walked through the doors we felt the warmth and was welcoming. The receptionist was really friendly and very helpful with her knowledge of the surroundings. She couldn’t do enough for us. Sorry we didn’t get her name but she was beautiful with flaming red hair and very pleasant. Our room was spacious clean and the bed was sooo comfortable. Our breakfast was very tasty and plenty full. The Surroundings of the hotel has beautiful views and lots to do with the town right there on your door step. We would love to come back and stay one day and explore more. Thank you for a fabulous couple of days.

Gorgeous hotel.stayed here when we went to a wedding in the area. Decor lively in the restaurant area. Breakfast very tasty. Room overall needs air conditioning as you can't open windows because if the flys. But we would definitely stay again

I was visiting family in Clitheroe and was out walking the dog very early in the morning when I came across a lady who was confused and clearly was lost. I took her to the reception at the hotel where we met Ali the night porter who could not have been more helpful. Suzanne receptionist came on duty at 7 am and between them they made us all very welcome until someone came to take the lady home. This is what community is about and I would like to thank them for all their help and for making so welcome.

I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. The service was great, the rooms were excellent and the breakfast that we had was also very good quality. I would love to stay here again one day.

After Booking.com cancelling our room a few days before without any communication we called the hotel and sadly they were fully booked. Luckily we managed to get a room as one of the party members were ill and the hotel staff were fabulous. Knowing how stressful the morning had been with the room cancelling and having 2 children we arrived and they had made the room up early for us to check in straight away. Suzanne was very helpful about parking and information. The room was nosey being above a function room but that didn't massively effect us. Beds were comfortable and food and breakfast was also lovely. Would stay again!
